Back at the factory, Zhengzhou is in a panic. He's still in need of a personal assistant and a hotel manager, and he's worried that his wife won't be able to bear him being apart from her. He rings his first lady's ring and tells her that he'll be back soon. Zhengzhou then tells his new assistant that he has to go to his uncle's house the next day to see a jade buyer. He tells her to come with him to the jade buyer's fair, which is to be held in the afternoon. He also tells her he has a meeting with his brother's uncle the following day, and that's when he'd like to see her. Delighted, she agrees to come, and Zhengzhou leaves.
