About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a description of the eight crimson weapons and the corresponding gray evolution paths. The narrator explains that it's not enough for humanity to get the eight weapons. The black dwarf, meanwhile, will just keep getting even more powerful. He suggests that the humans should try to convert the low-level grays into crimson substances, which will help them rank up faster in society. He wonders if the humans really want to sacrifice their leader, Mr. Liu, in order to obtain the weapons. He's worried that the black dwarfs are going to ask for a sacrifice in return for the weapons, and he wonders why the humans don't seem to be concerned at all. He tells the narrator that he longs for a duel, but he doesn't want to make him wait any longer, so he tells him to use the gray substances to manifest his equipment. He says that he needs to kill one more level five gray to expose this secret, and that's when they need to kill the other level five grey. He warns the narrator to hide his ability to consume the gray substance, or else the blacks will kill him. He explains that the only way to do this is to destroy the eight red weapons and never allow them to come back. He reminds the narrator of his promise to destroy his research, and reminds him of his mother, who was once altered by the crimson substance. He asks the narrator if it was you who leaked the information about the research,
