He wants to get out and get help from the crimson loop, but he can't get out of the way of the fire. He thinks that the nine people who died in the battle are his family, and that they're the ones who sacrificed their lives to teach him how to be a hero. He runs off to get help, but the door isn't open. He tries to find the way out, but she won't let him. They're both afraid of what the fire will do to them, so they run away.
