The driver tells Hu that he's going back to headquarters. He's not going to be considered a defector if he aborts a mission. Hu taps a bracelet that looks like it might be useful. It's a suicide set that's supposed to be given to all the altered. Hu says he'll leave the bracelet to his grandson, who's heading towards crimson city. The bracelet has a bomb in it, a tracking device, and a healing liquid in it. The suit and knife have been specially made to fight the gray beasts. Hu promises to be camping at the headquarters every day once they're done fighting the beasts. The chancellors are there, but Hu says they should stop arguing with each other. He says he hopes he can see his own success with his own eyes while he is still alive. Hu scolds the chancellors for not waiting for them to arrive.
