The next morning, the chief wakes up to find that the chancellors are holding a meeting. He tells the chief to go ahead and meet with the three leaders. He also wants to arrange for the deployment of the new altered team, which just finished their training. The chief asks to be moved to another part of the building so that he can meet with an interesting kid. The kid has seen "crimson" and has even become its altered form. He asks the chief why he came to see him, and the chief tells him that he has never said he was joining the army.
