The monster tells the boy that he's better than he thought he would be. He's surprised that it's so strong, because he expected it to be weaker. The boy is also surprised that the police haven't investigated the height of buildings in the area. He suddenly remembers his mom, who's still alive in the hospital, and wonders if she'll be taken care of after he dies. The monster says he'll get him outta here and tells him to wake up.
