The next morning, Yuji won't go to sleep. He wakes up to find that he's been staring at him all day. He tells himself that he should have gone to bed earlier, because the paparazzi are following him around. He's also upset that he hasn't been able to sleep the whole time. He says that he wishes he'd come to the set to read with Tomekichi Kumada, a former "revolutary" who's now living in a "goverment ment . . funded apartment" for "failures" . Yuji thinks that acting is a lot of fun, and that there's "a lot of playfulness" in it. He also thinks that the other actors are "loafing" and that they're "soldiers with talent" , which is a reference to the fact that Yuji doesn't seem to know anything about acting. He thinks that yesterday, as rehearsal was about to begin, he was dripping with sweat.
