In this chapter, we learn that the two students have been following each other since the beginning of the school year, and that they are holding hands. We learn that there are many students who are missing from the school and that their companions will likely be responsible for their disappearances. We also learn that, according to the law, there is no way for a student to be arrested for leaving the school without permission. The two students decide to arrest the suspect and bring him back to the school.
