In this chapter, we find out that Shumihara is using his left hand to fire his revolver, but that his right hand is better suited for returning the shot. The two men discuss how to improve their doubles game, and Shumihar tells us that he wants to be able to hit more serves, which means that he needs to be faster at hitting the volleys. He also wants to learn how to hit the return shot, which is harder because it's so hard to accurately hit the volley when you're hitting it from the baseline.
