He says he'd like to be married to someone else, not just a boyfriend. Azusa, the narrator's neighbor, chimes in that the man she's talking to is too pure for her. She tells him that she used to work with him, and that they used to start a business together. She says that she knows that she'd gain weight if she didn't lose it. He tells her that he got her some cream puffs from her favorite store, and she apologizes for making him feel guilty. He's sorry, she says, because he lied to her about having a stomach ache. He also says that having sex can increase your heart's rate, which is why it's important to get some exercise. He suggests that they have sex, and they can have cream puffs together.
