Suzuya asks why Kiryu is hanging out with a guy named Akira. Kiryu rejected her marriage proposal and dumped her, and she blames herself for the whole thing. She tells him that she and Kiryu live in two worlds, one where they love each other and the other where they are separated from each other. She asks Kiryu if he would be willing to marry her again if they could get back together, and he says that he would, if they loved each other as much as they do now. She tries to make him laugh by saying that Kiryu doesn't bug her like he used to, but he does. She says that she has no idea what she's talking about, and that she'll fall if she tries to pass it on to him. He's not laughing at her, she says, because he's "ruthless" . He tells her that he left Kiryu at home because he was too busy enjoying himself to worry about her. She wonders if she should break up with Kiryu because he is so important to her, but Kiryu says he liked her for who she is, not for what she looks like. He didn't try to flatter her or make her feel better about herself, she tells him. She thinks that it's wrong to have such a marriage, since no one will be happy. She has to leave her parents, her family company, and the bar where she met Kiryu, but she can't leave the room without it.
