Si says that she will help him, and she tells him about the talented piano player who lives with her mother at the conservatory of music in Berlin. Si asks if he is jealous, and he replies that she feels guilty for boarding at school. He tells her that he will not stop her from pursuing her dream, and they sit down to eat in the conservatory's dining hall.
