When the officers arrive, they find that the dog and the brother officers have been fighting over the spoils of the robbery. The brother officers tell the dog that the money belongs to his sister, but the dog tells them that it belongs to him. He tells the officers that he is scared of being beaten, and he threatens to sue them if they touch his head. The officers refuse to detain him, but he begs them to withdraw the case against the fat man. He says that he stole money from his family when he was 10 years old, and that he will be sent to hell if he is caught again. He asks the captain if he wants to give the poison to the dog, and the captain says that it is a mixed poison. The captain gives him the money, and they both win.
