In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, who is introduced as the "boss" of the chapter. He is the boss of the restaurant where the two men are dining. The two men discuss the fact that the restaurant does not serve alcohol, and the boss asks the waiter to wait for him at the side of the table. The waiter refuses, saying that the man is actually his friend. The boss then asks the man if he wants to complain about the restaurant to the waiter. The man replies that he does not want to complain because he is single now, and it is normal for him to encounter things that do not reciprocate his feelings. He says that he is jealous of the man's age, and that he will not be able to continue his relationship with the man because the man seems to be too old to match up with the young man. The young man says that it is not necessary for them to go to the restaurant because they have not had a heart-to-heart conversation in a while, and he would have never expected the boss to make use of him.
