Two years ago, the song opens with a soliloquy in which the protagonist laments the fact that he has forgotten his "flower and rainy season" and is instead looking forward to the "person who's gonna be an idol" . The protagonist is envious of his childhood friend, who has fallen in love with another man. He laments that he can't give his friend the happiness she craves, and that she should instead find a man of her own choosing. He compares his friend to a "little kid" who has no understanding of the world. He asks if he has anyone he likes, and the protagonist replies that he does. He tells his friend that it's okay to pretend to be kissing someone, and he wonders why the other man is so happy. He wonders if this is because of him, and wonders why he is so surprised. He then wonders if the other person is really going to be his queen. He realizes that he is making people unable to like him and wishes that he could stop playing mind games with them. He also realizes that his friend is thinking of someone else in his heart, and wishes he could just admit that he likes her.
