In this short scene, the master's dog, named Lu-chen, tells his master, Master Tang, that he was humiliated when he was banished from the green region. When the master realized that his dog was lower in rank than him, he put the dog in a sack, carried him around for show, and then put him back in the sack. When he realizes that his master is now licking his foot, he is enraged. He thinks that the woman is trying to take revenge on him for being sent away by someone. He tells the woman that he has told her to lick his foot because it is as dirty as his face, and he is glad that she finally realizes that it is cool to do so. He then tells the lady that he is going to kill her because she is as silly and stinky as ever. She tells him that the man who gave him permission to enter is rude and arrogant, and that he should die. The master tells the dog that he will kill the man for his humiliation. The dog tells the servant that he would gouge the man's eyes out if he allowed him to. The servant tells him to shut up, but the dog says that the servant is a dog and should behave like one.
