In this chapter, we learn that the heroines will be attending a party at which they will be bullied. This is because the female lead will be able to turn the table and beat up the white lotuses. The evil female will then become a stepping-stone for the evil female lead when she fails in her plot. The general sends out a list of the guests for the party, and the heroine is worried that she will be beaten. The duke has already prepared the dress for her, and she is sure that all of the men will know that she is the woman that the duke likes the most, since she is wearing the pink dress. A few days later, the party is over, but the duke's carriage is waiting for the heroine.
