In this short scene, Ling Ling explains that she was running away from Fang Yiyan when he bit her on the lips. Ling Ling tells us that Fang's wounds are so serious that he needs to be taken to the United States for treatment. She also reveals that she is still alive, and that she hopes that he will be able to get better. She is worried about her friend anna, who has betrayed her husband. She asks Ling Ling if she is happy, and Ling Ling replies that part of the reason she was willing to marry Fang was also because she was afraid of what Fang would do to her if she did not do so. She then tells us about a well-known businessman named feng xin who has been badly burned in a warehouse fire and is expected to be badly injured
