In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of characters, including a teacher, a second young master, and a senior citizen. The first young master tells the second master that he is tired and wishes he could go home and rest. The second master tells him to go to the washroom. The senior citizen tells the young master that the brat is a good kid and that he should try to befriend him. The teacher tells the brat not to worry, as he is better than the two of them. The young master then tells the senior citizen that if he wants to marry her, he should give her the appropriate amount of money. The old master says that if the young man wants to fool around with another woman, then he should stay away from that woman. The two young masters then discuss the situation in the city.
