About This Chapter
The next morning, the teacher is complaining about the noise coming from the apartment above. She's worried that the baby is sick, but she's also worried about the other students. They're all staring at her, and the teacher doesn't know what to say. She tells the students that they're being rude to her because they've just won the biggest contract in the city. The teacher tells them to stop acting so passive-aggressive and to stop being so mean to her. She also tells them that she lost eight contracts over the past month, but that's not the reason to be so harsh with her. If she hears about the teacher's badmouthing her again, she won't be nice to her either. She gives the students a gift: she picks up a new present from the pet shop. It's a gift for the young master. The young master is waiting for her.
