About This Chapter
The narrator tells us that he's changed a lot since he was a kid. He's got a new hand, and he wants to know what happened with the girl who bullied him when he was in high school. He asks the girl's name, and the girl tells him that it was her senior. The narrator says that the girl bullied him, and that he was the only person who bullied her. He tells the girl that he loves his alma mater, so he doesn't care what people think of him after he graduates. The girl tells the narrator that she used to be alone when she was in college, but that she got used to him when she got to know him. She asks the narrator if he still has any contact with her, and she says that he does, but she's not sure how to contact her in this generation. She sends him a message asking him to go with her to the library on Sunday, and when he does go, he gets attacked by a drunken hooligan. When the police arrive, the narrator is covered in blood, and his hand is almost ruined by a bottle of beer.
