About This Chapter
In this short scene, Caixia tells Jenny that she will help her become the person she was before. She also tells her that she has friends again, and that she is going back to school next year. She tells Jenny not to tell her parents about her problems, as they will be worried. Jenny tells her parents that she and Caixia are getting along so well that they are going to go to school together the next day. Caixia wonders why Jenny is talking to the "misfortunate soul" when she should be staying home and waiting for her father to come back. She wonders if it would be better if they didn't spread rumors about her father's death, otherwise, she would not mind letting him feel what it is like to be "a god of misfortune" . She goes to the campus art museum to look at the works of the graduating seniors. She asks the senior to help her critique the senior's paintings. The senior says that he is wearing warm clothes and sunglasses indoors, which Caixia sees as a compliment to her painting. She says that the senior should scare the senior because she looks like the same person as her painting
