About This Chapter
Back on the capsule, Crunch-P-Crunch tells the rest of the crew that the government has decided that Betty must not die, but that she must be allowed to live if they want to get her back as quickly as possible. He tells them that if they don't do anything to save her, they'll have to spend money and come back empty-handed with a wounded member. He says that if the government wants to keep their money, they need to find a way to spend it. The government is asking for money to buy Betty's body back from the International Space Station, so there's a lot of money to be made. He also tells the other crew members that they've changed their mission list. They need to add one more person to the group who's likely to survive if they have to go back to the moon. He asks if anyone wants to stay, and they all agree that they would like to stay if they could. He then asks if they'd like to choose the strongest person to stay with them, and the two of them decide that they will stay together.
