About This Chapter
In this chapter, Volodymyr Aiminov and Konstantin Shvedinov, two Russian cosmonauts, practice a Russian training exercise called the "revolving chair of terror" . The goal of the exercise is to train a person's sense of balance and to teach him how to control his emotions in space. The two men discuss the similarities and differences between their flight training at the United States Air Force Academy and their time at the Russian Academy of Sciences.
