In this chapter, we learn that the first man to set foot on the moon was none other than Edgar Allan Poe. In fact, he's the only person to have ever stepped foot on a moon. The rest of the chapter is devoted to the conversation between Edgar and his mentor, the late, great Captain Jarndyce. In the course of the conversation, Edgar tells his mentor that he'd like to go back to the moon someday, but that he needs to get his legs under him before he does. He's not sure when he'll be able to get there, but he wants to do it as soon as possible
