In this chapter, we learn about the concept of "fukubukuro" , which means "good fortune" in Japanese. It's basically a fancy way of saying, "I've got a bunch of stuff I want to sell, but I don't have the money to buy it." Basically, the protagonist buys stuff that's already been sold and sells it for a lower price than it was originally going to cost.
