In this chapter, we learn that the heralds have returned to stasis, and that the girl is trying to use her power to bring the family out of it. The heralds are worried that they will be the next to die, and the girl tells them that they should wash their hands of the whole thing now that they've gotten out of the stasis. The man says that he's fine with that, since he and the man are the ones who started this whole thing. He says that everyone has been acting crazy since he first showed up, and now that the family is back, they're ready to get back to normal life.
