About This Chapter
It's morning, and the maid is getting ready to go to work when she hears that Hiro is going to be taking a job at a convenience store. The maid asks Hiro if he's in love with her, and Hiro tells her that he is, and that she should be happy. Hiro tells the maid that he and his friends are getting jobs, too, and asks her to follow him around to see what's going on. Hiro says that he was acting strange, but that he'd rather they didn't have to work all the time. He's sacrificed so much to protect them, Hiro says, because he thinks they're family now. Hiro is happy that they'll be able to go out for dinner, and he buys the maid a cute doll that Hiro bought her. Hiro asks the maid why she's crying, and she tells him that it's because she wants to do something nice for her family.
