In this chapter, the monster tells us that he's about to go to the "mortal realm" on business. He's going to spy on people in the afterlife, but he doesn't want to look like a spy. Instead, he wants to be a part of the fun. He tells us about some of the tricks he uses to hide his horn and ears. First, he says, he has a creepy bottle that allows him to "shape shift" . Then, he tells us, in the English afterlife, there's a "small town hollow" where people can hide their horns and ears to prevent them from stealing goods. Finally, he gives us a little tour of the amusement park he has set up.
