This is a locked chapterCHAPTER 30 THE BATTLE OF CHILDREN'S LIMBO
About This Chapter
In this chapter, we are introduced to the "children's limbo" , a purgatory in which children who have died before their parents are placed in a state of limbo. Children who die before they are reunited with their parents in heaven are given a task of stacking rocks, but they are then knocked down by the same ogres who knocked them down in the first place. In order to avoid this fate, the Jizobosatsu system was instituted, in which the child's guardian is sent to the child in order to protect him from the evil forces of nature. The children in this chapter discuss the problem of children in limbo. One of the other children has started a "rebel lion," and one of the girls next to him seems to have "higher morals" than the average person. The group decides to play a new game to see how long their willpower lasts.
