It's been a while since we've heard about taxi robberies, so we're just going to assume that they've become more common in the last few years. We're not sure if that's true or not, but it's safe to assume it isn't. The narrator then launches into a long speech about how he's always wanted to be a cab driver, and how he can't wait to get out of the house and get to work. He's got a story to tell, though, and he wants to share it with you. He wants to tell you about a time when he was a famous taxi driver. He tells you a story about a woman who was very pale and had strange things to say about her. She was supposed to be dead, but apparently she's still alive. It turns out that the woman's name is Oiwa, and she was murdered by her husband, i.e., her husband's co-worker, who happened to be in the same taxi as the woman. Oiwa is now a vengeful ghost, and i.emon is a murderer, and they're going to have to go to court.
