About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a description of hell, which is divided into eight "greater" and eight "cold" hells. After the war, there has been a "popu-lation boom" , which has led to an increase in "malicious spirits" such as Sadako. The chapter ends with a discussion of heaven and hell, and the narrator says that he doesn't "give a damn" what heaven wants. He adds that he'd like to go to the hotel where he can "hang out" with his friends. The narrator says he's sorry to bother momotaro with the peach farm. He's not sure if the peach boy is there with offerings at the festival, but he thinks it's "fine" to be proud to rid the land of evil ogres, even though "evil ogres" haven't been eradicated during his lifetime. He also says that the narrator is being "oddly delicate" about his ways, and that he is "the first advisor to the king enma" . He says that "he's the top dog" of all demons and that "you'll know my wrath" at your peril. He then says that, "this is hell, after all, you tried got provoking this, him . shiro for sasaki ! win dont call me underdog !" .
