In this chapter, Tommo and Shimada discuss the upcoming World Cup. Tommo says that he's sure that the team will make it to the tournament. Shimada, however, is worried that the snow will delay the team's progress. He's worried that Hiroshige will be unable to keep up with the pace of the opposition's counterattacks. He also worries that Mizuki will be able to beat him in one-on-one combat. The two men agree that the best way to prepare for the tournament is to get the best out of each other.
