In the second half of the first half, Mishima laments the fact that he has been unable to play the entire game because of his knee injury. He laments that the other players have not been able to play as well as he has. Mishima realizes that the goal keeper, Hiroshi Ito, has been holding them back, and he laments his inability to do so. He also realizes that they have no choice but to play with a new goalie because of the wear and tear on their defense.
