142nd day Overwhelming Talent
This is a locked chapter142nd day Overwhelming Talent
About This Chapter
The second half begins with a series of exchanges between the two captains. The first involves a discussion of who has the better chance of winning the game. The captain points out that aiba has the upper hand because he's taller, stronger, and faster than the other two. The two exchange compliments about each other's abilities, and the captain tells the other captain that he knows aiba will win the game for them both. He then tells the captain to stop aiba and take him out of the game, because aiba is going to beat the other team's defense with his speed and skill. Just then, the captain sees a bullet from aiba that hits the back of the net, and he realizes that the game is still tied. He asks the captain what's going on, and when the captain says that it's the last kick of the first half, he tells him to kick the ball away from him and let the other captains take the game away from them.
