It's been a while since the last chapter, and now it's time for a game of hopscotch. The gang has been cooped up all day, and they're finally ready to play. The first person to show up is Pika, and she welcomes the gang with open arms. She tells them to hop on the floating metal plates that are floating in the air. Pika tells the gang that they'll have to try to figure out how to get to the scarecrow's hiding place. She also tells them that the letters "k" and "p" are used in the game, and that the word "hopcotch" in Japanese means "ken ken pa," which means "clear." The gang decides to try and figure out what the letters mean.
