In this chapter, we learn that the monster gator is hiding behind the schoolboy, and that the boy's name is sei takuma, a third-year student at a high school in Kanagawa, a city in southwestern Japan. He and his classmates have run into each other in the hallway of the school, and they're all eager to help each other escape from the clutches of the demons. The boy who called for help is kami, a 17 year-old student at the school. He tells the boy that he's a second year student from Osaka, a town in northeastern Japan, and the boy is shiri, a 2 year old student at another school in the city of Tokyo. They've all run into one another in this hallway, and kami tells them that they'll all be able to escape if they all work together to find a way out of the dungeon.
