About This Chapter
In celebration of Valentine's Day, Wung Ming asks his brother to go out first so that he can "fuse with his spirit soul" . He tells his brother that he's about to "fusion" with his "spirit soul" and that it's difficult for his parents to raise him and his sister-in-law because of his depression. But, he says, they're going to do fine together. He says that his soul power has increased, and he clangs a "sudden second transformation" , and the threads of his soul begin to weave together and form a skeletal pattern on the silver grass. He feels like he is in a "furnace," and he borrows 30 000 coins to pay for it. He asks how long it has taken for him to fuse with his soul, and his brother says that he doesn't want them to worry, but that they can trade for a "better spirit soul." They're pretty comfortable together now, and they invite their parents over for a party. They invite him to show them his "martial soul," which he does so many times. He's so nervous that he even knocks on the door, and then comes directly in. His dad even brings popcorn, which makes him even more nervous. His mom, meanwhile, is filled with excitement. She asks her son to bring some of the grass into her room so that she can smell it.
