The next morning, Tung wakes up in the middle of the night to find that the three men have disappeared. He's worried that they're trying to kill him, but he doesn't know what to do. Tung tells the others to go to the graveyard and check out what's been going on. He says that he saw the funeral procession go by without a sound, and that the coffin was dripping blood. Tung is worried that the villagers are trying to cover up their dead bodies, and he wonders if this is the first time they've done this. Tung says that the tattoo on the forehead of the dead man must be a sign that something is wrong with the town. Tung asks the others not to listen to him, because he's afraid that the men are going to run away. He tells them to go into the forest and warn the people there about the monsters.
