About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a description of a fiery worm. It is the opposite of a gu insect that has taken over the city. The worm is poisonous, but the body of the young man is the antidote. The young man swallows the worm and wonders why the man suddenly woke up. He wonders if the man was deceived by the courtesan in the lust city. He also wonders why a man would be so flirtatious. He asks why the men still have a cold war and asks why they don't go in to deliver the reports to him. He then asks why he doesn't just go in and deliver the report himself. He says that he has to go in because the scouts sent reports and he wants to give them to him so that he can deliver them to them. He gives the report to him and then goes back to sleep. When he wakes up, he finds that the man has opened the lantern and that it is a lantern that dismemberes lian. He begs his lord to take him with him to find a place where they can't be found and then they will be together forever.
