In this chapter, we learn that the magical mushrooms can attach as parasites to people, just by the spores of their spores. In other words, the "mushroom" is a parasite on the person who eats it, just like the human beings who eat the "food" of the mushroom. This is a big deal, because it means that the human person can be a parasite to the magical mushroom, too. This means that if you eat the mushroom, you're going to be a human parasite, too, because the mushroom's spores are going to attach themselves to you. This makes the protagonist, Mr. Wei, very angry. He wants to get rid of the "candy house" that the mushroom has grown on his nose, so he's going to take the candy out of the candy factory when he goes back to the hospital. He's also going to make sure that no one eats the mushroom on his face, because that's the only way the mushroom can attach itself to a human being. He also wants to know if there's an earthquake going on in the hospital, because he doesn't know that there is no heaven or hell there, and that there are "worms" on the eight-floor hospital floor.
