He decides to go to the bakery first to get the buns. The bakery is very early, and the guy who works there is looking for some random statistics material. The narrator asks the guy if he has eyes on Zillah, but the guy says he does, and then he tells the narrator that he has been meaning to get to know Zillah for a while.
