The next morning, the two women go to the train station to catch the next train. When they arrive, the women are surprised to find that the boy sitting next to them on the train is none other than Ren Gao, the boy from the previous chapter. Ren and Gao are both very excited to see each other, and Ren tells the woman that he and the boy are "pretty much fellow loners" . The woman, however, is not so excited, and she tells Ren that she too is on her way to the southern streets to see her mother.
