In this chapter, the monster explains that he's been trying to do good by helping people, but he doesn't believe that he can prove anything. He says that if he thinks of himself as a super-human, then his existence is "unfalsifiable" because he can't prove that he has a superpower. He also explains that the grid that he uses to determine the numbers on the monster's cell is based on numbers between 1 and 9. He thanks everyone for their support, and says that he nearly died trying to hide it from the warden, but that he gave it his best shot. He's still alive, he says, and he wants to show them how powerful the technology is.
