In this chapter, the young man tries to convince his older brother that he is worthy of being a core disciple in the martial house of the Four Great Families. The elder brother tells him that he must pass the "core disciple test" in order to be admitted into the house as a disciple. The young man, however, is not convinced. He is afraid that the elder brother will try to prevent him from participating in the test.
