About This Chapter
In the middle of the night, Eros is awakened by a knock at the door. He tells his servant, Saint Lithos, that he cannot play the harp because he cannot transform himself into a musical instrument. He asks the warrior if he can perform the song, and the warrior replies that he will teach him. The warrior then asks the girl if she wants him to play the song. The girl replies that she does not want him to do so, but Eros says that even though he deceived her, this sin does not warrant death. Eros then begins playing the harp, which he has learned from the sheet music, and he begins to flirt with eli, who is asleep in the back of the car. Eros asks eli if she would like to play a song that is not from the world, and she says that she would be able to create a song based on what she remembers about herself when she was a child. He then asks her if she can create the song by recalling what it looked like when he was younger. She says that he can try to recall what the song looks like, and then he can create it.
