The next morning, Dr. Manette comments on how well he's improved his medical skills. He's worried that he'll have to stay at the hospital for several days after this, so he thanks Professor Hu for his help. He thinks that Hu is the best doctor in the world, and that's saying something, since Hu is considered one of the ten best doctors in the whole world. He also thinks that the next time he sees a patient, he should go to a "shannai" , or a doctor who's specialized in treating patients.
