In this chapter, we learn that the crescent moon village has been at the bottom of the sea for a long time, but the sea level has risen over the years. The only way to get to the top of the mountain is to go to the sea temple, but it would take a day to get there. Everyone in the village would die if they got close to the temple, so the first thing they do is to get the diving equipment and go there to find the sea creature. The sea creature is the younger sister of the master sea butterfly. She's on a cliff east of the town, but hates the village. The next day, the full moon will be full, so they'll be able to get over to the island safely. Anemone, the mantis, the little brother black-eyed, and the little sister antelope are all going to go find the diving tool.
