Now that he's dead, the monster can't help but think about how awesome it would be if he were still alive. He wonders how long it would take for him to protect him, and how he'll be able to do so now that he has the ability to generate electricity. The monster tells him that he can use some of his electricity to keep him alive, but he has to make sure that he doesn't consume too much electricity.
