The guys are worried that they're going to be eaten alive by a machine, and they want to know what's going to happen to them if they don't come up with a plan. The guy says that he's a mere hybrid, and the guys are just looking down on him. He says that the only difference between a human and a machine is that a human is made out of animals, whereas a machine only has bodies made of flesh. This is a big deal, because a machine has to pay a lot of money to be able to do what a human can do, but a machine can only do so much because it's made of animals.
